My Brother

Must of you know that my brother was home for 15 days for some R&R from his deployment. It has been one week, since he left to go back overseas. We are all trying to keep in our minds that this is job and he will be home soon (December).
We had a great time visiting with him and I am sure he really enjoyed his time off. He got to do alot of things, he was here for my neice's first birthday, he went to a NASCAR race (sat in the middle of the track in the grass), spent alot of time with my parents, which they joyed, and his sisters and our families.

You know the saying 'you won't miss it until it is gone', that is so true. When family is close by, you really don't think much about it. We get into the same old habit of just giving them call here and there to see what they are doing or visit a couple times. You just know that they are there...which sometimes we take that for granted, until they have to move or in my case are deployed to some 3rd world country. Then you take a step out of the box and realize that these things can happen. Whether or not your family is next door or far don't take that for granted, enjoy everyday, talk to them everyday, pray, and just love them because that is what matters most.

This is a slideshow of some pictures of my brother while he was home and some of my favorites of last year. Enjoy:)
