Teeth, Teeth and More Teeth

Izabelle is getting more teeth. I went to pick the girls up from their babysitters and Izabelle just started to feel warm, so we went home and took her temperature and it was 102 degrees, so we gave her some Motrin and off to bed she went. We knew that her two "I" teeth were starting to drop so we knew she was teething, but as Friday progressed she wouldn't drink without screaming, barely ate, and was still running a temp. The last time she was teething she got these horrible blisters in the back of her throat, so I knew by the way she was acting she must have them again. So, Saturday she seemed a lot better, drinking some, eating better, so we went to Lowe's to get some things for the house and playset for the girls. When we got to the truck Izabelle was crying and I noticed what I thought was food, but were actually a molar coming thru, so I checked the other side and she is getting one on the other side. No wonder she was in so much PAIN, she is getting 4 TEETH, plus I got the flashlight and went searching in her mouth for blisters and sure enough there they were. So, Sunday we stayed home instead of going to church, I knew the congregation would understand that Izabelle wadn't feeling all that well. I just wanted them to go away, I wish that I could of took all this pain from her. We did our best, today she was alot better. Hopefully we won't have anymore teeth troubles.

Just one of those days!

Okay, so my day yesterday started out the same, Gracie and Izabelle were in a very happy and funny mood. So, I don't know if Gracie wants another baby or what, but she keeps telling us little things about when I get another baby, I will call it this or do that. So, yesterday she came up and gave me an hug and she looks at me and says "are you going to have another baby, your belly is big?", I told her no, and then proceeds to "talk" to my belly. Saying "Hi, baby" and talking in baby talk. What? What is going on. It was to funny not to share, even though my daughter thinks mommy's belly is big.
Okay, so Matt had a tractor pull last night at the Daviess County Fair, so when we got home we hurried to get ready Well, being a blonde and being hurried don't mix. I put everything else that couldn't fit in the diaper bag into a seperate bag. I put Izabelle's sippy cup, and empty cup, and my camera in that bag. Well, I didn't close the lid of the sippy cup very good and milk spilled all over my CAMERA, so now it is RUINED. I love my camera!
With that, we hauled ourselves up to the fair to enjoy the fair activities and to watch daddy pull his tractor. With my camera working only like two times I got a couple of shots of the pull, so I will get those posted (if the milk didn't ruin my memory card) Matt did okay in the first pull (Pro Stock), not where he wanted to be out, but he did do okay. In between classes Matt's mom and I went to take Gracie to some of the rides. She did pretty good, but was afraid of going down a dark slide on one fun house, so Mommy to the RESCUE...I actually got scared going across the bridge. I don't ever remember being scared when I was a little kid, but as an adult I was praying that this thing would hold me up. Back to Matt, he pulled again in the Super Stock class it went out of bounds and got disqualified and on the 2nd hook he broke something on the tractor. With my camera being RUINED, Matt's tractor breaking and the gnats, we had a pretty good time at the fair.

For now, I am desperately missing my CAMERA.

Gracie swimming (sorry it is sideways)

Monday, June 23rd

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I really wish that the weeks would go by slower. I really enjoyed being with the girls. I took off Friday to take Izabelle to get her shots, do some yard sales, and did a little bit (a lot) of shopping with my girls. I really enjoy spending time with Gracie and Izabelle. Gracie desperetaly needed PJs...she has been wearing PJs that were 3T, oops! So, Friday was all about getting some items for the girls. I bought some ribbons to make hair bows, so hopefully I can find my creative side and make some cute ones...I will definetly need to seek advice from my mom or my friend Jamie.
Okay, so Saturday Matt was working, so we met with mom in town to get some hanging plants. I was in need for some ferns, so I finally found some and they were huge, I was thinking that they would be expensive but to my surprise they were reasonable priced and I picked a few extra flowers. Then the rest of the day we just enjoyed the comfort of our home.
Gracie and Izabelle enjoyed each other's company with a little tea party. I think I enjoyed them getting along and laughing. Gracie was a perfect hosts and Izabelle loved the food.

Sunday, the girls and I went to church (my first time going without Matt), again Matt was working. After church we came home, ate and went to meet Kaycee, Greta, and Brynnlee at the pool. We had a good time. I haven't been swimming, well for a long time. Gracie and Izabelle are two little water bugs. Gracie has been going with Kaycee since last summer and Kaycee showed her how to get comforable with the water. So, now Gracie loves jumping off the side, and going under water. She was doing this with her floaties, but now she can do it all by herself, but only in the shallow end. She even can swim under water (captured by video), which I was so excited to see. I am very proud of her. Izabelle loves splashing and doesn't mind getting some water in the face when Gracie decides to jump in right beside us. I think Izabelle is holding back, until she is big enough to get her back. Miss Brynnlee enjoyed sitting by her mom and enjoyed the water touching her toes. She is so cute.

After swimming, Aunt Kaycee took the girls to jump on the trampoline, which I think we all enjoyed. The little ones didn't really know what to think about that.

So, after all the afternoon excitement we went home and relaxed before we went to Small Groups for our church.

I DID IT. YES!

Thursday June 19th

IZABELLE IS WALKING

Well kind of...she has been taking a couple of steps here and there at home and yesterday at the babysitters, we were sitting in the living room and I looked over and she was walking and made it about halfway across the living room. I am so proud of her. Gracie loves it because Izabelle walked 6 steps for her in the kitchen (just for her she said). I think Gracie is ready for her little sister to be able to do more with her.

I will try to catch her walking. I have her on video taking a couple of steps, so I might post that tonight when I get home.

Thursday, June 19

So, bear with me, I am really new at this whole blog thing. And I realized while I was trying uploading my pictures. I have no idea what I am doing. I finally figured out how to do some of things I wanted, so I will try to get those pictures and video up for you to view.

Monday, June 16

What a weekend!!!! Saturday, Gracie, Izabelle, and I watched Emily (my sister's little girl) all day while Tina, Jason, and Tristan went to Holiday World. It was fun and eventful. While Gracie was swimming in her kiddie pool, Emily and I sat back and relaxed in the sun...Poor Izabelle missed the fun, she was napping. After lunch and some playing, we went to Nana and Papa's to visit, then went to my Aunt and Uncles to ride the horses. That was fun, Gracie was riding like a pro (hopefully, I can post some pictures tonight)...she didn't realize it, but Uncle Darv let go of the bridle and she was doing it by herself. Izabelle got on with Papa and rode she didn't know what to think of that. We were all exhausted by time we got home, we even beat Daddy to the house (he had a tractor pull).

Sunday (Happy Father's Day), we went to church and came home and hopped in the kiddie pool again. Gracie loves doing her front rolls in the pool (video coming soon). Izabelle wanted to get in, so we put her water playmat down for her to play on hit, but she kept trying to get in with Gracie, so mom had to join the fun.
Matt had brillant idea to take the slippin slide out to Nana and Papa's and slide down the hill. Little did I know that Matt wasn't going to do it with us. Party Pooper, so it was me and the girls sliding down the hill. Izabelle didn't know what to think about it, but she knew she liked (pictures coming).
Then we were off to Memaw and Papa Jake's for supper. The food was so good...they make the best chicken thighs. We had some fun, Aunt Kaycee took some good pictures of the girls on the swing...I am just glad the littlest two decided to stay put along enough to take a picture.

If you could pray for the Andre, Mandi, Gabe Knepp (and his baby sister or brother), they were in a car accident Saturday night. We are keeping them in our prayers that they will have a smooth healing process...I know God is with them and their family.
