Okay, so this is hard for me to ask for prayers for myself. I have been experiencing some sort of pain (can’t really explain it) on my right side for the past several months. I just thought I pulled a muscle after I had the flu, but it didn’t seem to go away. I thought maybe it was my ovaries, but my doctor said they were fine and he didn’t feel anything taking up ‘space’. Then I didn’t have anymore pain for about a month and then it hit me again.
So, I finally went to see a family doctor on Tuesday. Not really what I wanted to hear…He felt around on my belly and when he pushed down on my right side which is the side that HURTS and felt around to check my other organs. He said that he didn’t think it was IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) because it stayed in that one location. So, he said that I will need a CAT Scan…WHAT????? I have never had anything like this done. Never broken a bone, maybe had one X-ray in my life. I am a very nervous person the way it is, so my mind automatically goes to that ‘worst case’ scenario.
I go Friday morning to Jasper Memorial for the CAT Scan and some blood work and I am nervous. I know in my heart that I will be okay and that God is with me and everything will work out, but if you could say a small pray for me that my nervous stay calm and for good test results, I know that I will be okay by just having that extra support behind me.

I'll be praying Jess! I'm sure it's nothing :) You could have an ulcer...I used to have them all the time when I was in school! I've had several CAT Scans done.....you will be just fine hun! Hope they find what it is, so that you’re not in any more pain! Keep me updated!!!!

I'm a nervous person too! I always think the worst when it comes to medical situations as well so I know what you're feeling! I'll def. be praying for you!!
