So not much going on in our household, well besides getting yard sale stuff together (which will be next weekend). Matt & his dad went to a tractor pull in Delaware(sp??), Ohio...not sure were that is at, but it's far away. They left Friday afternoon and came home after church on Sunday. I don't think they did too hot, since Matt didn't really go into much detail about the pull itself.
The girls' and I just hung out the whole weekend. We met up with Patty and the girls' (& their guys) on Friday at the camper for some fun. We got there a little early, so the girls' and I played at the park. One of Grace's classmate was two campers down, so they were back forth to each other's campers. It was fun to watch Grace interact with a new friend, which happens to be a classmate of mine when I was in school. Izabelle and B were playing so good and I am so glad that they are starting to interact more with each other. Saturday we didn't do to much either, actually I really don't know what we did. We went to get dog food and when we got back Grace brought up a surprise convo, here is what was said.
Grace: "Mom, you need to get pregnant".
Me: thinking to myself, WHAT!
Me to Grace: "What makes you say that?"
Grace: "Well if you are in the hospital having a baby we would live you alone".
Me: Laughing to myself. Kids say the darnest things:0)
I guess she could tell that my nerves were starting to get shot by the end of the day.
When Matt got home from the tractor pull we were excited to see him and he never left his side. We sure did miss our man, Daddy Matt (according to Izabelle). I am sure he loved having all his girls surrounding him.
This week we are looking forward to the Turkey Trot. This is always a special time for me, because when Kenney Chesney was at the Turkey Trot back in '96 or '97 I told my cousin about Matt and that I had a crush on him (blushing). Now 11 some years later we are taking our children to the Trot, Ahhh, sweet. I know right? So, we will be enjoying the Turkey races, rides, family fun at the camper, mud volleyball, & pig wrestling.

I can't believe someone as big as Kenny Chesney was at the Trot! And that was the start of you and Matt's relationship! Hope you guys have a lot of fun!
Chelsa-yes it was Hailey, she is sooo sweet and Grace says that is her best friend now. Too cute.
Whitney-Yup Kenney was there. It was when his song "You and Me" came out, that was our wedding song, too.
Hey Jessica, it was fun to see you at the turkey trot! Glad to know Griffin & Grace are friends too. I remember being at turkey trot when Kenny Chesney was there too...I was pregnant with Megan!! He was the last concert at turkey trot I attended! LOL!
I agree with Grace. I think you need a baby :)
