Lil Bit of This & Lil Bit of That

Since Grace's birthday party day, Sunday we just did the usual, church, home for lunch and nap while Matt went to a bowshoot (let the season begin:I). When Matt got home we headed outside for a bike ride. We bought one of those bike strollers for Izabelle can tag along with us (best investment, ever). It's fun listening to Izabelle just chatting away while Daddy (or Mommy) doing all the work. The other day she was just saying "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, go this way, it fun". Grace is having fun riding her bike along with Mom and Dad. She had learned that she can coast, that way she can rest her legs. We are trying to work ourselves where we can ride to Matt's mom and dads'. We will see if that happens. That is some of my fondest memories when me, my brother & sister would ride our bikes to my grandparents' farm, while mom and dad drove the tractors.
After our bike ride we got ready to head over to some friends' house for some much needed visit. We had a blast.

You know how you can hear a song and just start singing it and it will be in your head for the rest of the day. Well Izabelle has been singing this song since she heard it back in July and vacation bible school. She sings "SonRock Kids Camp", she sings it fast, slow, and even in opera style. It's hilarous. It is usually out of no where. While she walking down the hallway, eating, playing with toys, you hear "SonRock Kids Camp". Since then we have been catching her repeating other songs. Well yesterday when Matt's cell rang we hear her repeat the song "God is Great, Beer is Good, People are Crazy", I guess this is some country song that Matt likes. Then I hear on the way out to my parents' her singing along to the song "That's not my name" or whatever it is. Hilarious. I need to try and get her on video.

Oh, yeah. Yesterday I picked Grace up from school early to get her shots. She thought she was getting out of school early, not knowing that mommy was taking her to get her shots. She wasn't too happy, but it did make her feel alittle better that Izabelle had to get hers too, until she learned that she had to get 3 and Izabelle just 1. That wasn't fair she thought. Well, I know that we all don't like to get shots, but we pretty much had to hold Miss Grace down to get the alcohol on her. She's a strong lil booger. They did get candy necklaces for their pain that they endured. Poor Grace was still complaining of her legs hurting this morning. I am sure they stopped hurting once they were out at recess.

Well that was enough of This and That.

Have a Wonderful Day.

God Bless

Jess

I would always hate getting shots when I was younger too! I think all kids hate needles. But ice-cream afterwards makes things much better:) At least for me...my mom would always get me ice-cream and then I would have no pain. haha. Hope Grace's leg pain went away.
