Preschool Graduate & 2 yr. check up

We have a Preschool Graduate among our household. That's Right!!! Grace graduated from Preschool yesterday. We couldn't not be any prouder of her:) Yesterday the girls and I headed to meet up with the rest of her preschool class at the park. They took attendance and was released to the playground for some play time. Then we went up to the train for a train ride. After the train ride, they went across the park, up a hill, stopped and watched a snake eating (Gross), across the road, then FINALLY to the Recycling Center, where the kids learned what they did at the recycling center. Then it was back across the road, down the hill, brief stop to see the snake (wasn't there, Thank you), then back to the park for handwashing and lunch. Once lunch was over the kids went back to playing, until it was time for the Graduating Ceremony.

Matt and his parents came to watch Grace Graduating. The teachers lined up the students to get their shirts and caps on. It was sooo CUTE!!! Their poor little hats kept coming off, so they were walking slow to balance their hats...Too Funny. Somethings that Grace can do: She knows all of her letters and number, she can add and subtract, she can read some words/sentences, and she loves to SING!!!
Here are some pictures of Grace's big day.

Later that afternoon Izabelle had her 2 year old check up. Everything looks good, she height is good, but her weight is little over, so he wants us to cut out the...SWEETS:( Oh, no!! This is going to be tough, but we've got to do it, this is something we all need to do in this household...we love our snacks. Here are some milestones: she can tell us what she wants, she can put 2-3 words together, she LOVES to run, she LOVES P-pops (better known to you all as popsicles), and likes to Wing (swing) high. Ah, this girl is wonderful and so is her big sister.

Until Next Time...

May God Bless You All...

Birthday

This was a busy one and an EXCITING one. Izabelle had her 2nd birthday party. Izabelle was born on the same day as my nephew, Tristan (who is 10) so we had a combined party. We figured that since all of his aunts/uncles and cousins will be there might as well celebrate his big day too. He is having friends come and camp out at his house at a later date.

Back to Izabelle...We have been practicing saying 2 and holding 2 fingers up. We can say 2, but the fingers go crazy trying to get them to do what she wants them to do.

The party started at 6, so she got a good 2 hour nap in and was ready to party when her guest were arriving. We waited until the very last minute to put on her cute little outfit. My friend Abby made her the cutest tutu and I got her a white leotard and an iron on to make her birthday outfit complete!!! She LOVED IT!!!

We were able to enjoy good food, good friends, and GOOD TIME!!! I am so glad that she and Tristan had a good time. As well as our guests. By the time the last bunch left (my parents and siblings) we were all ready for bed. But is was FUN!!! We love having PARTIES!!!!

Here are some pictures of the Birthday Girl and her BIG DAY!!!

Fieldtrip

Grace had her last fieldtrip for preschool yesterday. We went to Boyd Grain to see what goes on at a farm. We seperated into groups and Grace's group stayed by the playground to play on their playsets they had and the trampoline. Then they headed to see the baby goat, Gilbert. He is 6 weeks old and the kids got a chance to feed him his bottle and some animal crackers. The highlight of this was they got to see the goat pee...Gross!!! Then it was off to the semi. They were able to go inside of the semi and see what was inside. They could not believe that their was a bed, microwave, and fridge in there. After that it was off to the next station where the became farmers and planted their very own popcorn seeds into their cups of soil, so Grace will be able to watch her popcorn grow. Then they had popcorn and juice for snack while we waited our turn for the HAYRIDE!!!! Mr. Boyd was our driver and it was soo FUN!!! I think I enjoyed it more than Grace. The kids loved it when he went FAST!!! I could listen to their laughter and squeals all day. We did see a BIG tractor coming in from the fields, but we were not able to see inside a tractor because they were out in the fields. With a farmer, if it is a nice day and no rain in sight they are out in the fields getting everything ready. Something my dad and brother were doing yesterday.

I will post pictures of our Big Fieldtrip later (I forgot my card at home).

On another note...we are trying to get everything ready for Izabelle's 2nd birthday party. We got part of her outfit yesterday (I will keep that a secret, but I LOVE IT). Izabelle was born on my nephew's birthday and since he will be at his dad on his acutal birthday we are having a birthday party for him along with Izabelle's, so it's going to be FUN!!!

God Bless...

Kids and Time

Grace told Matt that she wanted to ride her bike to Memaw and Papaw's yesterday. Matt said "they live to far to ride your bike, it would take you all day". Grace said "That's okay, I have a million minutes". Lol:) I wish I didn't have to worry about time or even realize what time it is. All that mattered to Grace was that she had all the time in the world to do whatever. Bless her heart.

Grace had her dance recital saturday so I have some pictures and videos to share. She did such a great job and I am so very proud of her. After that we went home for naps and to relax, then headed to WalMart. Then we went over to Joe and Leah's for supper, to play the Wii, visit, and just have FUN. And boy did we ever!!!! It was funny to watch Matt and Joe box on the Wii, I really hope they don't take boxing as a career:)
Sunday we had church at the park and lunch. The Community building was packed, it was a great time of fellowship. The girls and I went to a graduation party for two of my Vikettes. I can't believe that they are graduating next week:( Then it was off to Small Groups for study of Genesis. I ended outside, poor Izabelle has been hooked to my leg, which I LOOOVVEEE, so I went out there to play with her and the older kids. I think I might of had more fun then the kids. It was fun and I was tired!!!

God Bless...

Thursday Tunes

Most of you all know this about me but I LOVE MUSIC and this song has caught my attention and I am thinking about doing a worship dance to this song...What do you think??? Not only do I love music and dancing but the message in this song is also what I need. Never Alone...sometimes we all feel like we are alone, but we are not our Almighty God is with us and sometimes it takes someone to remind us that, whether through song, speaking with someone, or reading scriptures. Enjoy:)

Until Next Time...

God Bless
