Thursday Tunes

Most of you all know this about me but I LOVE MUSIC and this song has caught my attention and I am thinking about doing a worship dance to this song...What do you think??? Not only do I love music and dancing but the message in this song is also what I need. Never Alone...sometimes we all feel like we are alone, but we are not our Almighty God is with us and sometimes it takes someone to remind us that, whether through song, speaking with someone, or reading scriptures. Enjoy:)

Until Next Time...

Mother's Day

Mother’s Day for us, I mean me was a day filled with ordinary usualness. We woke up and got ready for church, then came home and got stuff ready to head out to my mom and dad’s. My dad was working so we visited with my mom, brother and Amanda. We got my mom some perennials that she has wanted. We were going to fix her lunch but when we arrived they just finished making breakfast or brunch since it was AHEM…11 o’clock. We went by my brother’s barn, I mean house…It’s really coming along. I think this week they are going to work on the electrical stuff. After Grant stopped chasing the girls, teasing his big sis and the gals talking it was time to head to my grandma and grandpa’s house. Izabelle and I fell asleep in the truck (I haven’t done that in a looong time), which was nice, but our visit with my grandparents was a little shorter due to that. My sister and her family came over after they visited her hubby’s family. Emily and Izabelle were not really into interacting with people due to the fact they just got down taking a not so good naps.

Then we came back home to get Matt’s mom’s gift (hanging basket). It was nice to get together with them and enjoy each other. Kaycee was there, we haven’t seen much of her lately, with her working (she works all the TIME) and her spending some quality time with her boyfriend. We have been missing her. I am really happy that she is happy.
Grace LOVES playing on Greta and Rob’s Wii that they bring for all of us to enjoy. Izabelle and B LOVE boxing/loving on each other:) It is so fun watching these two girls interact with one another. Here are some pictures of B and Iz playing.
B thinking her next move:)

Grace getting ready to bowl.

Izabelle tackling, I mean loving on B.
O’ and my sweet romantic hubby got me two bouquets of flowers. Okay you got me it was actually me that got them for me when we all went to WalMart to get groceries. But he was with me, so I let him take credit for it:)

Not Me! Monday

This is Not Me! Monday! ~ the blog carnival hosted by MckMama every MONDAY! This lady is eccentric, funny, and full of faith. She and her family has had a rough year with the youngest of the her charming kids being diagnosed with a heart problem in the womb. They were told that they baby would not survive, but with their faith in God, the child was born full term and healthy. It wasn’t until recently that the heart problem resurfaced and spent 5 weeks in the hospital to get his heart stabilized, so he could go back home to his brothers and sister. Be sure to stop by her place after you're done here to see what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
Now for my Not Me! Monday!
I did not play Old Maid and Gold Fish with my oldest daughter and actually lost without trying. I certainly did not peek at her cards when she bent down to pick up from the Old Fish pile…Not Me!!
Friday, I am not that type of girl to strut in the Auto Parts store and pretend I knew exactly what I needed for my awesome Mini Van…Oh Not Me! I then did not ripe open the caps for the tire, look around to see if anyone was looking to see a WOMEN working on her tire. So, Not Me!!! It is NOT like me to take a picture of my littlest girl on Mother’s Day showing her most favorite pass time…TANTRUMS!!! Nope, Not Me!!!!

Until Next Time...

Show Us Where You Live-Living Room &/or Family Room

Okay I guess I am going to join the "Show Us Where You Live" wagon that this wonderful Lady, Kelly started. I have been reading her blog for quite sometime, well before she had her beautiful daughter Harper and during her daughters hospital stay after her birth. I am quite fond of the name Harper since it is my mother's maiden name...I never thought of using it as a girl's name...Hmmm??? If we have another daughter next maybe we will use it.
Okay, back to the showing you all my Living Room and Family Room. We are suppose to do this on Friday, but I was in Evansville all day and I need to do some cleaning up, so here it is a day later. Hey, feel free to make any suggestions...I am not the best in the home decor department.

This is our Living Room...this is the view when you turn the corner from the house garage.

View from the Master Bedroom

View from the Front Door-looking to the Right...Love the Entertainment Center...Matt's uncle made that for us.

Front Door looking straight to the dining table and our French Doors (that I LOVE) leading out to the backyard

Kitchen (which is VERY MESSY)

This is what we have on the BIG BARE wall the back of the Living Room...Have NO Idea what to do here...Thinking about putting the clock above the entertainment center, and do a collague of pictures....Any ideas???? Love how I have the UpperCase lettering not up yet...Yeah its been like that for weeks, maybe months. Ha!!!

The family room in the basement...As you can see we haven't done much down here. We do alot of playing and watching movies. I love the sectional that we got from some friends...Thanks!!! Matt and I feel asleep on it the other night watching a movie.

Just Talking...

This has been somewhat a busy week for us. With each one of us, one by one, succumbing to the AWFUL common cold, is kind of making it hard for us to enjoy it. Yesterday after Grace's preschool we went over to Sharon's and visited with her and her girls. They had made lunch and we had a teaparty. It was great for the girls to play while Sharon and I caught up and talked...Thank you so much for that:) Her girls were asked to dance for the Grand Opening for the Parkview Community Center (I think that is what it is called) on Friday, so we practiced their dance. I was really proud that they remembered all of it and they did really well. I can't believe how their dancing continues to bless people. After our visit we came home for naps and then it was time to get ready for Grace's last preschool performance:( She sure has the performance gene in her. I loved watching her sing and put such emphasis on the performance. She is such a ham:) I will post videos once I get them downloaded. Then Matt took us to our new favorite place...KFC:) The girls love their popcorn chicken and mashed potatoes...YUM!!!!
Today, Grace has to get ready for her dance pictures. I have to leave work early to go get her dance shoes (I am such a procrastinator on these type of things) and then she has to get her hair done and finally head to the studio for pictures:)

Until Next Time...

God Bless:)

Family Reunion

Friday, we had some wonderful visitors stay with us. The girls were so excited and anxiously waiting our company. Matt's cousins from Ohio came to stay with us Friday (my girls were excited to see them), they came down with their mom for the Swartzentruber Reunion on Sunday. It was really great to see them and spend time with his side of the family that live out of state. Matt's other aunt and uncle came up from North Carolina too. We all meant up at the local Amish restaurant for breakfast to visit with relatives and friends that haven't seen one another for a while. It was really good to see that side of the family, since my girls don't get a chance to see that very often.
After breakfast we went to Wichman's and got some plants and flowers to start our landscaping, then came home for lunch and naps. Then Saturday evening we meant up at Jake and Patty's for supper. Matt's dad's side was their for a mini Gingerich reunion. It was fun to see every one and I know the little girls had a blast visiting with their cousins. We have had two new additions to the family since the last time we all meant, Kelsey and Kaden. Kaden is the only boy out of 7 little princesses there that night. The little girl screams and laughter didn't seem to bother him to much...he was fast asleep during the time he was there.
Sunday we all went to church and then headed over to the reunion. It is funny that some of Gracie's friends are her 3rd cousins as well...I don't think any of the mom's realized that as well. It was really great to see all the families together and reminisce over memories.
We were blessed with wonderful family, memories, and wonderful weather to accompany us this week.
I think we have been spoiled this weekend with some GREAT food, that I don't know if my family will want to eat anything that I will make for supper this week. Well, I don't know if they really liked it to begin with anyway;)

Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures of this weekend.

Until Next Time...

God Bless...
